He and his friends are visibly older, but the final year does not feel simple. Max remains connected from afar, Mr. Claw expects thoughtful independence, and middle school is no longer a distant idea. It is an approaching doorway that makes even confident students wonder whether they are truly ready.
The academic work demands more than completing assignments.
